Rainbow On A Mission

Rainbow On A Mission is a team, with a revolving cast of characters. Maria is the head of Rainbow On A Mission, supported by Don my beautiful and creative assistant! Others join from time to time to help a mission come to life. Marbling and Tie dye are best done as group projects and brings people together. Covering the Rainbow spectrum of colors in many of my designs is a goal. I let abstraction and chaos determine the way the colors play off of each other, dancing and mixing in ways not possible with human intention. Happy Accidents are commonplace, and teamwork is essential to the process. There are no mistakes, just different results than expected and new lessons to be learned. What is life without a surprise here and there? I enjoy creating handmade articles with love and sharing that love with others. This is the basis for my philosophy of shareable art - cards, envelopes, clothing, yardages of fabric, etc. I believe collaboration between artists is key to advancing not only the styles of art, but also widening the audience it can be shared with.
